I get that but you can't take a step backwards, which he did this year. I still believe in the upside, but I would have liked to giftwrap him more responsibility this year, and I think he generally proved me wrong unfortunately.

I hear ya. Wish Chytil was stapled to Panarin all season. Just as KAM was stapled to Trouba, come hell or high water. I hope we get a chance to see that actually happen...we shall see.

I never said Gally always makes the right call but you and I are neophytes watching on tv. We are not behind the bench nor in the locker room. If you can do better than do it. I cant and I played college, coached and reffed.

It’s not about doing better overall but if your premise is that coaches don’t make mistakes, or that when they do that fans who watch every game aren’t capable of identifying those mistakes, then you yourself have a lot to learn.

I don’t actually believe I could be a better GM than Chris Drury but I absolutely believe I am competent to identify that he’s made some mistakes and can notice the things he should have done better.
