This. Obviously they made the right call with the way the rule is written now but I’ve always thought you should have to actually shoot it out of play to get a dog. Batting the puck out of the air is essentially a deflection

Woll just let a shot drop in front of him, lost it and then get saved by McCabe, or a good stick because he couldn't swallow the shot. Couldn't find the rebound that seemed close and couldn't get over.
