I had heard a story about griffin reinhart, he pretty much hated hockey but had no choice to play because of obligation/ability

Lots of people work at jobs they really don’t like and would prefer to do something else, but it’s about the money. Was it Kyoto’s who said he hated fighting but the money to play in the nhl was too good and he had no other way to be in the league?

IMO the Habs have the most talented offensive forwards in the series and will have a puncher’s chance as long as Montembeau keeps playing at this level.

Logan Thompson has been out close to a month and looks kinda scrambly, I’m expecting another 3rd like Montreal had in game 1

I know this is off topic, but (imo) there are several nhl players who only play because it pays so good. They just happen to be really good but it’s not their passion.

I think it’s a lot to go through junior and the AHL if you aren’t passionate about it, but I do think Laine is maybe one of those dudes who isn’t super-driven about anything in particular, and when hockey wasn’t easy anymore..

I’d say most dudes are still super-driven, there are just a few vets who might be elsewhere by now without the paycheck.

But anywho, big fan of his because he’s f***in hilarious. Awful hockey player.

i like our first line and first pairing but it gets a little thin after that.

Caps are the better, deeper team but not unbeatable

You obviuosly aren't watchin g the game. he tried to make a hit but his leg isn't strong enough to enable him the to follow through. Leg isn't 100%. If he just needs time off he will probably be a lot better next season. if he needs surgery he could be done.
