Playoff Ullmark

Your Canadiens had the 4th worst expected goal differential in the entire league.

Sit the **** down.
He isn't a Habs fan and we live rent free in your mind apparently while being the youngest team by 2+ years (average age) in these playoffs.

Also the youngest team in NHL history to make the playoffs.

We are good with the direction our team is taking despite whatever you may think.

Good luck.

Glad he is finally getting recognized as the complete playoff fraud he has always been.

f***ing clown single handedly buried historic Boston team in 2023, hope he never wins a playoff series in his career.

Not the primary problem.

The team's defensive system, from turnovers (17 tonight?) to breakdowns leading to odd-man rushes or open shooters in the slot, are a much bigger issue.
Leafs are an offensive powerhouse
Tough to play against for bubble teams like Ottawa and Montreal
Caps are working the habs just fine but i was really hoping not to draw Toronto cause i think it would have been ugly

1st game he had been pretty bad but everyone who thinking it was the case last 2 didn't really watch the game..

gm 2 2 of 3 goal was just Toronto sending puck to the net who hitting skate of someone

ot goal was a perfect shot from extremely dangerous spot with a 3 men screen, he had no chance at all to stop that play

gm 1: An other goal deflected off skate, a high skilled play and pretty awful covering by Ottawa. Ulmark had no chance on that one

OT goal : 4 men screen and maybe even more, how do you want Ulmark see this puck honestly and its pretty hard to make save when it's just basically impossible to see the puck

I'm not putting it all on Ullmark...the Leafs are getting some far to many uncontested opportunities
that I don't know if it's scheme, lack of hustle or just having to give Toronto credit... but far to many
high scoring opportunities.

Sens fans throwing Ullmark under the bus as if they haven't been complete dog shit defensively and on faceoffs

Cut the guy some slack, there was like 4 or 5 goals scored against him directly off of offensive zone faceoff wins. On the OT goal, Matthews wins the draw and him and Knies immediately screen the goalie. Where is the D ? How do you lose that many faceoffs cleanly ? lol

Ullmark isn't the problem

1) Horrible PK
2) Horrible on faceoffs
3) Can't clear the crease

I was about to say. While Ullmark hasn't looked good, he's hardly the only problem. The OT winner last night was off yet another Leafs faceoff win in the offensive zone. On the whole, Toronto had, what, 32 faceoff wins to 19? At some point you need to win the draw.

And it wasn't like the Leafs powerplay was rocking. Pretty sure it was near the bottom of league over the last month or so. Naturally, that was always going to bounce back, but it isn't just Ullmark playing bad that put the Sens down 0-3

Ottawa sucks. Simple as that. Fans were delusional to think otherwise. Worst team that made the playoffs.
This is what would happen to Detroit had they qualified. Making the playoffs is fun until you get swept in the first round. These wildcard teams are building for the future. Nobody expected Ottawa or Montreal to make a deep playoff run this year.

Sens fans arguing with Habs fans over which team is worse.

Please, do continue.
It shouldn't be close honestly but it is.

Look at the projection before the season started, MTL was predicted to finish bottom 5 again this year while Ottawa near a playoff spot.

MTL the youngest team in the playoff are facing the no1 team in the East and look better then Ottawa facing the no2 team.

Seems like he can never make the clutch save when needed. Overall a solid goalie but the playoff results continue to be lackluster. Unfortunate for Sens fans who thought they finally found their guy after the goalie carousel of years past.

Good RS Goalie but under performs in the PO, end of story.

Ottawa is losing this series for 2 reasons:

1- Their penalty kill hasn't been up to the challenge
2- There's not enough skill when they're set up with pressure in the offensive zone

Ullmark is part of the first problem a bit. But he's been totally fine since game 1. Sens fans shouldn't be falling for this "not a big game goalie" business. It's insane how often goalies get blamed when they play for teams that can't score. Just like the Leafs' fans and media used to do with Freddy Andersen.

There hasn’t been enough solid play from the rest of the team to pin it all on Ullmark.

It would have been nice if he stood on his head to cover a lot of warts but he hasn’t and here we are.

What about being swept by the caps? Yall haven’t won a game yet either…
Yeah but we are running on good vibes after a 3 year rebuild not a 8 year rebuild getting stomped by our arch nemesis :). Most habs fans are quite happy to be where we are and hanging in tight playoff games with the caps considering the roster we are icing
