Yes, last year game 1 and 2
We've actually won two in a row in each of our last four playoff series

I have a different take if the game gets ugly: respond heavily and beat the shit out of the caps in the fights and scrums. No turning the other cheek bullshit and hoping to score on the pp. That's what soft teams do.
We don't need to do that, the Rangers are bigger and tougher than the caps: willie won't go with Rempe so Rempe can square off with mcilrath. Once willie is tangled with an easy target like always, I want the rest of the Rangers to pummel the remaining caps, make ovenchicken, lapierre and strome drop the gloves with a Schneider or Cuylle, make fehervary and carlson defend themselves against Trouba or Goodrow while having to try and play 30 mins. And then again on the next shift. And again.
Nothing solidifies a PO run like going to war together and we have the roster to do it so if the caps want an edge, turn it into a shitshow. And then beat them on the scoreboard with the talent gap.
Yeah after he was a corpse for 57 minutes.Ros made the quick play that sprung Kreider breakaway. The one thing those guys did all night.
We've literally done this in our last four series in a row LMAODo we ever win 2 in a row in the playoffs? Cant we please do that tonight?

We've literally done this in our last four series in a row LMAO
Actually six in a row if you go back to 2017
So, only one time a series? That's not good odds. We've literally done this in our last four series in a row LMAO

Well now that you mention it, we won three in a row against Washington in 2015, ditto Pittsburgh, the first two against Montreal in 2014, three in a row against Pittsburgh that year.MH please get your own content...
Sir, there are seven games. The odds of having multiple winning streaks without winning the series during the winning streak are extremely long. So, only one time a series? That's not good odds.
I want 4 per series.Sir, there are seven games. The odds of having multiple winning streaks without winning the series during the winning streak are extremely long.
Maybe he means hold serve for the first 2 games at home when they have home ice.Sir, there are seven games. The odds of having multiple winning streaks without winning the series during the winning streak are extremely long.
That's not how winning streaks work.I want 4 per series.
We did that against Tampa!Maybe he means hold serve for the first 2 games at home when they have home ice.
I’ll take one single 4 game winning streak per series. I’m not greedy.I want 4 per series.

When do we not win consecutive games?
Yeah and the Knicks did. Where you at Rangers? We haven't done it in the 2024 playoffs...duh
Ah man, this is back when something like this was actually funny. Now the Yankees can't even score a run.PGT when we finally win it all

Yeah idk how he missed that but I’m assuming it’s mental scarring from how theyd always blow game 2 with home ice in the henrik era. Off the top of my head:We did that against Tampa!
