Hopefully they get some of their guys back on Saturday. Last night was huge in SO many ways for the Bruins. Not only do they take away home ice from Ottawa, but they did it without DK, Accari, Carlo, Krug and Miller for most of the night. The Bruins got lucky in the fact that game 2 is 3 days after game 1. Not only will that give guys a chance to heal, but it also takes a lot of pressure off some guys to return too early. Hopefully they get DK, Accari, Carlo and Miller back for Saturday, but if they need an extra day, it isn't the end of the world.

I was really hoping for a split up there and we've got that already. No more injuries, play the game like the first and third period and leave it all out there. Take this one and head home with a huge advantage.

Always great to be up a game in a series, big pressure on Ottawa, let's see if they stray from the trap a bit.

I don't pretend to be a hockey coach or anything, but it seemed to me like Cassidy made an adjustment where the puck carrier was hesitating or skating laterally in the neutral zone before dumping the puck allowing the guys on the outside to gain some speed on the forecheck. I thought it was a good adjustment.

Oh man. I know it's playoffs when I get Bruins withdrawal after 24 hours. A few times today, I thought tomorrow was Saturday only to come to the sad realization that it's not. I can't stand the wait.

Why should they?
The standing of the series shouldn't affect the style of play. Only the score of the actual game should influence it.
Game 2 starts at 0-0 and game 1 shouldn't really matter anymore.

Good that they get a little break between games. Extra day can pay off huge if it gets guys closer to 100%

2 day break = sweeeeeeet

All day today on Ottawa radio they talked about Karlsson being injured (and obviously playing through it). No tears from this guy.

Last night was a case where an expensive goalie was worth every penny. Just an above average performance likely would not have been good enough. The Sens had quite a few good looks and could have easily broken the game open. Hopefully Tuukka can be on fire every game, but it would be great if the D gets healed and can take some of the pressure off Tuukka. Having McAvoy in was a blessing. No telling what would have happened had he not played. Really hoping the Bs can take the next one. A short series and some rest can really benefit a team with not much depth.

Yeah, funny to read that about McAvoy and Carlo, when on the main board there's a thread about which team in the East will miss the POs next year. Of course, Boston and Ottawa seem to lead the charge.

People DON'T know!

Anyway, I am bummed. My wife bought baseball tickets for Saturday. I'm going to be like that guy that had tickets to the Revs during one of the games during the 2011 run.

15W left!
