Unlike the BOS fans commenting on the Leafs loss last night, I don't think BOS losing tonight is the end of the world. I think BOS still wins the series, despite how bad they are playing. No need to panic. It's one game. You still need 4 to win.

Bruins have been a dumpster fire tonight. Mcavoy and Lindy have been garbage, krejci and pastrnak have been garbage, the only people that came to play are bertuzzi, marchand, and the 3rd line. Bring Bergeron back, it was a mistake sitting him out tonight. their hubris cost them this game.

I think Boston, while strong, is not as strong as its record-breaking record suggests. And Florida is a really, really good #8 seed that struggled with a new coach early on and are peaking at the right time. This series is a duel of President Trophy winning teams, and its going to be closer than what many expect.

What we have learned yet again is that being the best regular season team means nothing in the playoffs. We're learning that from last seasons Presidents trophy team facing this year's after a complete overhaul in plau style. Paul Maurice got his job preaching the tenants of playoff hockey. PM and Zito looking brilliant for getting to this point with that roster.

Maybe it's just me not wanting to be overconfident but I thought the Bruins had the more dangerous chances in game 1, despite the shot on net discrepancy. It was close though.
 
Shitty night all the way around. Not even going to bother paying attention to the late game. There's always tomorrow..

No, Bergeron isn’t ready and you don’t bring him back and risk more injury. He’ll be back for the next game.
