Yeah it's true Ullmark has been bad this game, no question.
But honestly, the skaters aren't helping him either. Just terrible play overall. Getting outcoached by Paul Maurice.

It is still very early in this series. Obviously.
However, I wrote a few posts during the middle of the season, suggesting that Boston isn't nearly as good as their record showed. I even suggested they may be "paper tigers". Their roster is quite similar to the rosters that didn't really do much in the playoffs in the last few years.
We will see how the rest of the series and playoffs play-out for them.

Funny how when game was close it was like midnight mass here, bruins go down and it immediately turns into a short bus convention
It is the best way to protect a lead, but for some reason teams still do the dump and turtle strategy, even though it performs much worse historically.

Florida has outplayed Boston in both games so far, but today the Bruins didn't have the puck luck of game 1. This series might end up being spicier than expected.

Ullmark having a bad game, Bergeron missing, and Florida has the best record this season against Boston I believe.
Imagine the headline, 'Buffalo signs Montour to 8 year $40M deal'.
Merely waiting for the inevitable "Bruins are poorly built!" and "Time to blow it all up!" idiotic comments to follow.
Right?? Boston loses a game and everyone is now like "I TOLD you Boston was overrated and weren't gonna get out of the first round. Their team sucks and they benefited from an easy schedule" or something.
