ESPN break: Suban said the call on Trocheck was not a penalty. Said that Lapierre has to hold on to his stick. When Steve Levy asked Messier if he liked the Rempe call, Suban chimed I and said “soft” Messier said he didn’t like the call.

They have to call the Trocheck one. That's on the rules not the ref.
