It's the Penguins and the refs see black & yellow laying down the arm goes up and blow the whistle. It's what they do. It's what they've been doing for 15+ years. Refs protect that team any way they can.

It looks to me like he was just watching his pass. I would guess just based on that play that he’s had quite a few NHL injuries.
