Really hoping this is just getting overplayed by the Leafs as some sort of psychological game against the Bruins.

Was absolutely wonderful of the Leafs to give the team back to back games to finish the season just a few days before game 1.....

2 days between the end of the regular season and playoffs is nonsense. NHL scheduling is always shit for us given all the back to backs they thrust upon us but this is a new low. If Bettman and his cronies wanted the Leafs on Saturday their last game should’ve been on Wednesday.

Not to mention the back to back games to end it. Tonight's the 3rd game in 5 days for this team. Great way to start the playoffs.

Matthews was perhaps the exception given the historical nature of 70.

NBA somehow ended their season earlier than NHL did, the Knicks have the priority in scheduling so they picked Saturday night at MSG.
