Im more confident after this period. Bruins are not going to hang after a couple of games of this heat, their D is already on their toes.

For the first time since last playoffs when the Bruins enter the Leafs zone and I say "hit him", I am confident a Leaf D actually will.

Matthews keeps whiffing on his shots. Two great locations so far that he didn't get cleanly.

His shooting accuracy and composure definitely takes a bit of a hit come playoffs.

Remember Game 1 vs Tampa when we got like 5 penalties in a row called against us.

You get one team to go up by 2 and you're pretty much burying the other team. It's difficult to win from behind. You can easily even up the PPs later

I'm watching a period where Boston was gifted a second power play and couldn't score, and otherwise a bunch of standard back and forth that doesn't result in much. Are you watching a 4 or 5-0 game that I'm not aware of? Of course Boston would have energy in the first period of game 1. If all it results in is a one goal game the Leafs will be in good shape. Their power play chances will come.

The post is the only thing keeping it from being a 4-0 game. Sammy is SWIMMING. He looks terrible.
