We've really seen Goaltending have a huge effect on teams mental all season. Just look at the Oilers first 20 games, and the Canucks with/without Demko. Boston has a solid foundation in net and Toronto doesnt. One team is just vastly more confident than the other.

Series over. Toronto is mentally ill for putting the same players on their team year after year and expecting something different.

What's shocking to me is that after 7 years of getting to the playoffs, you'd think they would have learned what they need to do to win games at this point.

No, it's like this is the first time they've ever been to the playoffs and they think run around, do dumb shit, try to intimidate opponents - especially against another pretty veteran team that's been here a number of times now, and more importantly knows how to win in the playoffs - is how you're going to win playoff games. No urgency, no movement on the power play, no anything that hints we'd really like to get a goal here and claw back and have a respectable showing and level-set for Game 2.

I want to be fathomed, but it's the Leafs.
