Not a very good excuse considering they found ways to win when McAvoy, Marchand, bergeron, Krejci, DeBrusk, hall, foligno, forbort were all out at different times and sometimes at the same time

I'm about to make a lot of enemies.

This Bruins team is the best team I've ever seen. I'm not old but I'm not that young either. They are so deep and play so well together, up and down the lineup. If we cannot handle some illness to start against Florida and flame out than we were not going anywhere anyway.

The absolute ride they've given me this year, during the most hectic and stressful year of my life, will never be taken away from me or them. No matter what happens this team has a special place in my heart. I hope they go all the way but I'll not be distraught at any point no matter what happens.

There, a fan of a historical team that's ready to wipe the slate and start fresh tonight.

All that being said, I expect this series to be over by game 6 now, but I still hold that 5 is the likely outcome. This team hasn't 'faced adversity' because it's seen adversity coming each time and plowed through it before an outside person would see it. I expect the same here.

Marchand/Krejci/DeBrusk & Pasta/Zacha/Burt is still a scary f'ing top 6, with Hall/Coyle/Frederick and Lauko/Nosek/Hathaway (Foligiano) being among the best bottom 6 in the league. Put some combo of McAvoy/Lindholm/Orlov/Carlo/Clifton/Forbert/Grizz as your D and Ullmark/Swayman as your goalie and there is no team in the league that would truly take their overall lineup over them.
Let's enjoy this ride.

Tkachuk vs. Marchand has the potential to be a really interesting matchup.

I feel like the Panthers' hopes really hang on putting doubt in Boston's mind early. If Boston gets momentum early in this series, I don't see them letting that go.

This is not good for the Bruins. First never like to se any team get sick this time of year, but this is the kind of adversity people have been talking about they haven't faced. By the time their lineup is healthy they might be in a severe hole with their season on the line.

Panthers NEED this game to put doubt in the Bruins heads and give themselves confidence. I would say a Panthers win tonight is all but assured.

They started the season without McAvoy, Marchand and Gryz and went like 7-1?
