Not on the same level. High sticks are fairly common and generally accidental (though sometimes reckless). He’d have to swing his stick at his face like he’s holding a baseball bat to rise to the same level.
A shitty call is a shitty call. There were plenty made tonight, and plenty others missed. That’s the point

Full credit to Boston, they showed up to play. Swayman was incredible.

Series likely goes 5 or 6 now in Bostons favour. No shame in losing to a team like Boston.

Leafs (the team, coaches, execs, local media, fans) whine about the refs every single postseason. It’s uncanny how they are apparently always getting “screwed”.

Exactly why they're a loser franchise. I can at least excuse fans, we're all irrational and just want our teams to win. But it's the same thing every year with the Leafs, they just whine about the refs rather than looking in the mirror.

DONT think it matters, bruins are not the same club. they are due to get kicked out again. sad but the figs will win this
Dead wrong. Leafs lose this series.
they have lost 5 straight play ogg games at home.
Mathewes has 1 goal in his last 8 play off game. Ditto for the captain.
The Bruins don't even have to play that well to beat this team

Leafs didn’t lose because of the refs.

They lost because their PP and PK were shit, and Swayman was incredible again.

No more excuses. That’s for losers. It’s time they let their balls drop.

It amazes me that so many invest so much time in complaining about the refs while their own team had 2 more PPs that Boston and failed to score on all of them. It would be more productive to look inward than out. But that's just me.

High sticks are as non-negotiable as delay of game. There is no room for interpretation or bias, the fact the officials endorsed that play and others was egregious.

Making the late penalty call a gift of karma to the Leafs.
