The Caps are more brittle than people think and have more pressure on them tonight. NY needs a great start and more than 1 goal early to set the tone and break these guys

I am a betting person, so yeah I'll pick the team that's likely to lose. Hope I'm wrong though.

I don't see this as anything other than 50/50. Rangers were down 0-2 and battled back to 3-3. That's resiliency. No reason to think this won't be a one goal win one way or the other. And, if you're a fan, there's really no good reason to pick against the Rangers.

Extremely stupid. I can't understand

It actually makes a bit of sense. When Moore was on the power play in Game 5, the scouting report was out. You could see it from the Caps. Every time Moore received the puck at the blue line, the Caps forwards bum rushed him. He never had more than a split second to make a decision, and for the most part, the Caps were effective on him. The Caps forwards have not played a point-man like that for the entire series except for Moore.

Maybe I was just seeing things, but it seemed very obvious to me that Moore didn't look comfortable without space, and the Caps were giving him none :dunno:

Well, in reality, it's a problem every Rangers player on the PP has. Too much time with the puck, need to make quicker decisions. Need to keep the puck and bodies moving so that the PKers fall out of their diamond shape. It's exactly what was done on the Girardi PP goal between Brass and Zuccs, and they haven't done it since.

Second goal wins tonight.

The Rangers have been an excellent home team. In the regular season, they had the 5th best home record in the league. On the road however, they were below .500 and have struggled at the Verizon Center in recent history. Gaborik's triple OT winner was I believe their last win in 7 tries in the postseason vs. the Capitals. The Rangers have been outplayed significantly at ES at the Verizon Center. History, stats, a lot of variables point to the Caps being the favorites. As a better, I will definitely be inclined to pick them.

I'm going 2-1 Rangers in a game that gives 57 fans heart attacks during the third period. Rangers will go up 2-0 and then Ovy will score on a PP to pull within 1 and their stupid red crowd will be loud as all hell while Lundy is forced to make 9 saved in the final 2 minutes.

Boyle scores off a Moore slap shot
Nash scores on a breakway

Nash will be lucky if he can get by a defenseman without losing his balance.

I don't want to be selfish and expect a Cup run, because honestly this team just doesn't have the minerals to pull it off right now, but all I ask the hockey Gods is for us to win this game.

Forget round 2. Just give us this one if for no other reason than to leave a very bitter taste in the mouths of Caps fans.

DVR'ing again.......MSG for local markets? 8pm? Just want to be 100% sure.......thanks !!

As a Rangers fan with a set of balls, who would rather win than be right about a useless statistical comparison, I choose our team for fighting back and earning a game 7.

We can pretend the sky is falling all offseason, tonight we dine in hell. LGR

Ah Jesus Christ not this tool again! He loves making himself the center of attention :shakehead

I've disliked him ever since the Anisimov sniper play. He wouldn't even explain why Arty got the penalty. He just said it's not kosher. What does that even mean? 4-5 PP's for each team incoming.

I noticed our PP's late in the game were prevent defense. McD-Girardi on the PP is just showing you are afraid.

Or playing to your strength. Still had the PP but sound defensively vs a dangerous pk. I have no problem with Dan Girardi and McD getting PP time. Both have decent shots. Both have high hockey IQ.

Bob, if you don't stop saying everything I want to say, there'll just be no point to me posting on here.

You have to stop.
