Let's be honest here...Rangers deserve this series. Much faster. And more talent.

You saw the difference in the team's play right in this sequence. Rangers with their heavy forecheck. Habs with being static in their own zone.

You can't win a cup icing a lineup that has no real talent. Daneault, Plekanec, Shaw is an awful combo to lead your lines. Absolutely horrific. It's on the GM.

Usually they deploy Galchenyuk on an offensive zone faceoff, if you lose that faceoff you spend most of that shift chasing the puck. Can't score without the puck. I would switch back to the lines of last game at the end.

Watching Rick Nash crash the net at every opportunity versus Pacioretty coasting and shooting from the perimeter is showing how overrated Pacioretty.

Not a good enough reason. Scoring ability is so much more important than faceoffs.

Also, why is he in the bottom six?

CJ being dinausor coach I guess. I played a bit of Junior hockey and let me tell you, coaches are fantasizing on hard working centermen who can win faceoffs under pressure. Even when they're less talented than other guys, they get more icetime and responsibilities. Danault is probably in CJ's dreamteam. Coaches don't want good players they want good soldiers.
