Oh man, I'd love to see Dorsett play today. He is an absolute sparkplug, perhaps he can bring some life to this team with his chippy play

Ill be completely shocked if Clowe plays... Miraculous recovery given that its almost 100% it was a concussion. I know head injuries are tricky, jut seems that yesterday was his 1st time on ice in weeks and then he gets inserted into the lineup without observing him for a full 24 hrs after?

I'm no doctor, so no flaming

I concur. I don't see how you can go from no-contact practice to a game in less than 24 hours. I wouldn't be surprised to see one or more of Staal/Dorsett/Boyle, though.

Someone posted earlier that Staal wasn't seen getting on the bus. I think that leaves Boyle and Dorsett as our inserts today.

He missed half of a season, of a half of a season. He game condition will be questionable.

Last time the Rangers played was on my 18th birthday (May 4, 2008), against Pittsburgh. Marian Hossa scored in OT to eliminate the Rangers from the playoffs.

Hopefully this one will erase that memory.

LGR!
I'm pretty sure the Rangers played more recently than that.

A Canadian bar in the city is opening 90 minutes early with the 9:30 start. Good thing it's socially acceptable to be in a bar at 9:30 on the west coast!

Hoping for win, but don't trust the offense enough. 2-1 Caps imo.

I always have a good feeling about getting a win before every single game. I'm pretty happy that it's in my DNA, much more pleasant than the flip side of the coin. No reason not to have a good feeling about this, even if I always dislike scheduling games in the daytime. Hockey has always been better at night for me.

Rangers can win this. Totally.

Feeling they come out flying in the first 5 minutes of the game and put in a couple early ones. Just see them dominating the entire game offensively and defensively. Rangers win 4-1.

This, I agree. Stoked for this one.

Boyle, Dorsett in. Newbury, Kreider, Staal, Clowe out.

No idea why Kreider isn't playing. Besides Hagelin he was our best forward in game 1. Looking forward to seeing what Dorsett brings. Need this one today.
