it was more along the lines of "if we feel a player will help us win he'll play, no matter his conditioning, because if we lose we're done..."

I don't think he meant the game today, he meant the series, if you lose the series youre done.

Thats what I got from it too. Some people are reading it as though he meant for this game.

Only Rangers fans on HFBoards can take a benign comment from Torts and twist it into something malicious.

Have a good feeling about this one, especially if we are adding a few to the lineup.

LGR!!!

i fully expect Dorsett to play, due to the fact that he was wearing a normal jersey in practice and that's essentially all he's been waiting for. the others, not sure.

but we will win. 3-2 Rangers.

Won't you Americans think of your Australian Rangers and not schedule day games.

I'll be up at 2.30am, let's take a leaf out of the Isles' book and bring some momentum back to NY. Not like those Knicks...

Giro d'Italia is on, just watch that until gametime (it's working so far but you have to add vodka).

Would love to see Staal and Dorsett in the lineup. It's time for Richards and Nash to step up

You've tempted me. Will be my first all-nighter in quite a while.

Time to pre-game with Nutella and tea. #hardcore

What are the chances one or the other is back in the lineup?

Game 2 is the most important game of the series,it dictates whether a team takes a 2-0 lead and (most frequently) the series, or if it's an absolute deadlock. Have to lock this one down.

I don't think an 80% Marc Staal is going to be the difference. Clowe would be nice to have back.

I don't think we can afford to play him right now.

Down 2-0 or up 2-1 makes sense, in the series. Otherwise, I think you might as well roll out Eminger and Moore. Eminger, not bad, not good, in game 1... but some of you really don't know what to expect out of a 6th defenseman. As that, Eminger did great game 1.
