Rangers are too apprehensive on the forecheck because they don't want to get caught low in the zone in case a forward has to back check.

If the Rangers are going to play like that then they may as well not forecheck all together and trap. This soft 2-1-2 isn't working all that well.

I can understand guarding against getting caught back there, truly do.
Mostly, I want to see more right in Holtby's face.
