Interesting cog-dis from the fanbase of a team playing Marchand, Rodrigues, Bennett, Lomberg...Florida fans on the main board trying to prepare themselves for all of the Canes diving....

They've made it their identity to accuse others of diving for the last 15-20 years.Every fan base has a subset that will call the opposing team divers if it impacted them in anyway during a game/series but especially in the playoffs.
Wonder if we'll see the same arguments about how 1 play can lose us this series as it relates to Morrow rather than Nikishin?
Nikishin got that game to burn a year off his ELC. Period. We won't see him again unless there is serious depletion on the backend.Good for Morrow.
He deserves a shot. To be honest, I was surprised they did put in Nikishin over Morrow in game 5 vs the Caps. He was the more obvious choice having played the Canes system all year, no language concerns and he wouldn’t have forced anyone on their off side.
Nikishin handled himself well, but personally, I think Morrow is the better Chatfield fill in for the time being, especially with last change.
I hope we'll at least see him in the fall.Nikishin got that game to burn a year off his ELC. Period. We won't see him again unless there is serious depletion on the backend.
I'll say it again.
And we are preparing ourselves for them running our goalie intentionally.Florida fans on the main board trying to prepare themselves for all of the Canes diving....
They didn't run him 2 years ago so stay optimistic.I'll say it again.
Andersen doesn't last more than 2 games before he's run and intentionally injured.
Didnt they run Slavin? They didn't run him 2 years ago so stay optimistic.
Lol, I'm well aware of that context. I saw enough from Morrow in the regular season that I can confidently say I'm more worried about his mistakes than Nikishin's. And yes, that is taking into consideration boom's bad turnover in his debut. But neither really worry me much as the rest of the team is capable of making up for any mistakes they make.Only if you missed the context on WHY Nikishin may be more prone to mistakes
So no refs prepared to make a callRefs tonight: Sutherland and Furlatt

But also
We don't want an bottomless Morrow he wouldn't be able to play
I think given his age that year is burned regardless of whether he played a game or not.Nikishin got that game to burn a year off his ELC. Period. We won't see him again unless there is serious depletion on the backend.
Bennett knocked him out of game 4 but I want to say it was (perhaps surprisingly) a clean hit.Didnt they run Slavin?
It was a clean hit, caught him with his head down, and I want to say it was in the 3rd period of Game 4, so the writing on the wall was already thereI think given his age that year is burned regardless of whether he played a game or not.

True, but you mentioned Freddie. For Slavin, it was at the end of Game 4.Didnt they run Slavin?
Is TT supposed to be KK?OTH, TT (in particular since as 4C that's his role), Martinook, Staal, Robinson, Orlov, Walker, Svetch, Janky (if he plays) need to do the same to the Cats. They need to hit their D and also their key guys Barkov, Marchand, Forsling, Reinhart, Bennett, Rodrigues and Verhaeghe hard every time they touch the puck (please BB, hit them hard this series)
