I know some of my Rangers folks were not happy with that game yesterday. Felt like Game 5 against Carolina , but the results were favorable to the Rangers.

I see it as a lot of opportunity and potential for the rest of this series. Rangers have not played well, but are still getting it done and are getting production from their bottom 6 which is critical for a deep playoff run.

Panarin, Kreider, Zibanejad, and Fox all were held off the scoresheet yesterday in a 5-4 win. If these guys can get going I like the Rangers odds.

But I still am expecting a long series 6 or even 7 games.
Rangers are winning despite the horrible defense and poor performance from top 6 minus Laffy. They will/should get better. Rangers took Florida's best shot and still won.

My point is why is Rodrigues even laying on the ice to begin with when he was very clearly perfectly fine?
You are assuming this. Nothing but 100% assumption through the eyes of a loyal Rangers fan.
Trainers nowadays are always going to use abundance of caution when it comes to possible head injuries. I imagine Erod answered whatever questions he was asked to where they decided the concussion room wasn’t necessary.
He got hit in the head, I can imagine that probably stunned him, you can be certain he was a milking faker. It’s all good.

I wonder if it could be possible that sometimes a trainer may tell a player that took a hit to the head (initial point of contact or otherwise), “no, no, don’t get up, yet.” while they are initially checking on them.

I personally think throwing elbows at people is embarrassing for the game 🤷‍♀️

I guess that diving POS had it coming.

Lol at this. Have you seen how much attention Remps gets around the league, viewers, refs, players, former players, fans?

30 years of hockey and I’ve never seen anything like this?

Whatcha talking “nobody cares”!!! You literally posted about it.
Nobody cares it’s just a bunch of hype about a comic book character it’s really quite boring.

If you don’t think there was any embellishment then I honestly don’t know what to tell you.

Don’t even bring the trainer into it. Rodrigues was laying on the ice for 30 seconds before he even came out. Its an absolute sell job and its massively frowned upon within the league. Other players are now laughing at him and it will be his reputation. His own locker room is probably questioning his antics

If you look a few shifts later, lindgren lines up next to him and says something along the lines of nice acting and rodrigues smiles back and laughs.

If you dont think he went full soccer mode there, thats just interesting I guess

The kid cares and having the time of his life living rent free in your heads. He even contributes on the ice with that little ice time he gets. Set up a nice screen on Bobflopsky on Goodys 1st goal.

One little fun fact:

Both fanbases seem to hate their large, overpaid, IQ-suspect captain/alternate captain who is overplayed by their respective coaches in Trouba & Ekblad.

Good teams persevere and find a way to win….
Rangers have done this all year. They have the most comeback wins in the league. They are offensively deep, can score in bunches, and bend but not break thanks to having the best goalie in the world. Shesty may let in a goal here and there, but he is the king of making the “Next” save….
The save that gives the team a chance and the most crucial points in the ebbs and flows of a 60min war.
He’s a tier above Bobrovsky, which many NYR fans were saying at the beginning of the series.

do I think FLA played like the better team in game 3??? Yes.
Both teams had points were they controlled the game… FLA was in on the forecheck more and for longer periods of time. Credit NYR for not breaking…
FLA also got some fortunate puck luck on Reinhardts 2nd and Barkov a goals.
The talking heads are dwelling on NYR giving up a 2 goal lead going into the 3rd…
Yea that can not and should not happen, but they also came back from a 1-0 deficit with FLA having 3 PPs to the rangers O…..

Having 6 PPs to 2 is bad refs ( which is a reoccurring theme in these playoffs all over)
PP chances don’t need to be 50/50 even split, but if you’re telling me the panthers play so clean a game not to at least average 1 penalty per period, you’re lying to yourself.

6-2 PPs def had an affect on lopsided zone time…
The other huge factor is Lavs not running 4 full lines….
It’s leaving the fwds gassed and fatigued at the end of periods….imo that’s a dangerous game he’s playing.

So far I heard “ rangers will lose because we live off the PP”

Well out PP has stunk since GM 2 of the canes series..

“No depth in bottom of line up “
Wrong

“The goalie match up is even, maybe a slight edge to shesty”
Wrong
Bob is prob 3rd best goalie left in the playoffs.
Shesty
Otter
Bob
Skinner/Pikard

Truth be told, rangers have flaws like every other team…. The key is finding a way to win no matter what happens, especially when things go south….. and these guys have been doing it All season long…
Being 4-0 in postseason OT games doesn’t happen by accident..
Luck and bounces are absolutely part of the tonic, but I’m talking about that other part… no matter what, just get it done by any means necessary….

I said at the start of the thread the Rangers would expose the Panthers and they are. Rangers were too rested and took a bit to get going for game 1, but the series is going about as I expected so far.

My advice is to watch Bennett he will for sure be looking to injure a key player tomorrow.

lol

Objection your honor! There is new evidence to this case.

Not surprised the kitty fan base being all quiet about this situation.

Fraud team and hypocrite fans goes hand in hand.
