Did you watch the game or just check the score? It was very even. Panthers got every bounce and two flukey goals.

I would not say very even. First 45-50 mins rags got couple giveaways and that is pretty much it. Last 10-15 minutes it was rags pushing really hard with couple great chances, but Bobrovsky is actually first good goalie they are playing against.

I do agree that Panthers also got some luck on this game, but usually better team wins and Panthers were better team.

Interesting how some feel the rangers played the better game and had more chance?. My dime store eyes saw total control by the cats to whom grinded a road win superbly. The cats were in 3rd gear perhaps. Rangers had no answer in their own zone. Did my eyes deceive me?

Both goalies played well. Forsling was huge on the first goal. Could of been a 4-3/3-2(ignoring the Own goal)game had both goalies not made some good stops

Rangers had a great start to the 2nd but then spent, what, 12 minutes without a SOG?

I'll gladly forfeit any fancy stats victories to the Rags while the Panthers continue their merry way to the SCF.

This wasn't even a high intensity battle to which the Panthers have gotten used to and often find success. If the Rags want to amp up the intensity then that'll likely just backfire on them.

The Rangers had their chances, but couldn't capitalize. The game was closer than the score indicates... Second goal was an own-goal, and third goal was an empty-netter.

Florida is definitely on another level though, this is not going to be an easy series.

I watched the game. I did not think it was even.

ahh so just blind. take a look at the stats. almost all of the underlying numbers show it was pretty even. panthers had some puck luck, rangers didnt. end of story
