We're playing exactly like Florida, but Florida wasn't gassed.

They need major adjustments here. SIMPLE hockey.

I didn't think we'd beat this team but pushing it to 7 games would have been nice.

Just sucks this season is going to end tonight. It was a special season. Changes need to be made this summer though.

Its disappointing but tampa are just superior in every facet.

We new this before the season, we knew this during and we knew this before the series started.

But, we also are further along that anyone expected

Well we have a better powerplay and Tampa is the 2nd worst discipline teams this year. But when refs swallow their whistles, it takes away one of our strengths and one of their weaknesses.

Just gotta swallow it and play better 5 on 5 even if it's dirty. Just something to keep in mind next year we need better 5 on 5 play.

This is what I don't understand. The NYR are far younger and the TBL have played WAY more games the past 3 years than the Rangers, so it should be the Rangers with far more juice, yet they are the ones who look like they are skating in mud or not moving their feet.

Mature but not yet old teams often have better staying power. Plus, Tampa had a nice rest after Florida whereby hurricane series went 7.

This is 100% the impression I get as a viewer.

Zib I think is in his own head again like he was at the start of the Pens series. Strome is a corpse, Copp still seems like he can't skate like he could in the regular season before the groin/leg injury. Fox is definitely banged up as all hell. And I never expected Chytil to keep up consistent production, he just never has.

I still fully believe we are capable of pulling it out and rallying at home. But I'm content with the season if this is how it goes. If this is the barometer for the team, not a bad freakin first playoff bar.

It’s something in the DNA of this team. Even in years we are “physical” we are not punishing. We aren’t imposing. We don’t finish checks. There’s a difference between simply racking up hits and making sure you finish every check and don’t do the fly by. We always revert to the fly by.

We aren't one bit harder to play against than we were a year ago when Tom Wilson had his hissy fit. I'll save my roster analysis for the post mortem.

If they lose the series it’s because we lost Game 3. That was the game we needed to win.

Meh, I think people are just frustrated. Both things can be true too, Igor is the only reason it’s not 4-0 AND that was a really soft goal at the worst time.

Obviously the deficit is not his fault, he’s the only reason it was 0-0 at the time that puck went in but there’s no denying that was a really bad goal to give up. Igor would be the first person to say it.

When was the last time they got any PP's I can't remember. Oh right they got 1 last game for too many men but the constant muggings haven't been called the entire series.
