Florida's pressure in our end forces our wingers to work to defend. Then when our defense finally gets the puck, our forwards just want to change. So the Dman flips the puck high to the red line. Ok, not great but at least it's out. However, that crap won't work in the 2nd. Forwards have got to suck it up, take the exit pass, carry and dump. Stop with the lazy changes.

The core problem is that the NYR collectively are just not good enough w skating with the puck. Has been a fatal flaw of this roster for a long time. The best teams in the league have the ability up and down their lineup to skate the puck in transition when called upon. Not end to end but in stretches.

I don't think it's a matter of being "good enough". Florida isn't that fast but they do it anyway. That's not magic. It's approach.

True but it's hard to skate when you're dead tired. The real problem is allowing Florida to keep possession in our end long enough to wear us out.

The problem is, if they are dominating play to this extent and the Rangers are pretenders like they are alluding too, isn't it an issue that this series is tied?

Florida should have swept with the way they are talking about them.
