Davidson should be getting a new head coach, a top line winger and at least one (ideally two) middle six Cs who can win a draw. No excuses. Stop signing washed up players to hit the cap floor. Time for young players to start coming in under a real coach and for Bedard to have some legit players and support in 25/26

Yes Martinez gets caught , so there will be some responsibility there, but Jones job is to read the rush. So knowing there is no other Hawk within miles, he goes for Domi rather than possibly angling Domi and then peeling to mid ice to play a low 2 on 1. So if you are going for Domi you need to sell out... he was so nonchalant closing and the use of his stick was pitiful... like he could care less. Your stick is your main weapon, especially a guy that tall. I just didn't like anything about that play.. He just looks like he is always going through the motions.. I also thought Soderblom could have been more ready to attack that play with his stick but it seems that is such a lost art with goaltenders.. They get coached to death on everything but much less on using the stick to break up plays.
