I feel you. Younger fans conflate pessimism with experience (realism), often following up with the dogmatic belief that the team will win, regardless of true ability and the matchup, as well as the belief that anyone who thinks differently is “not a true fan” or somehow intellectually deficient. This is Tampa’s time; we’ll have ours. It’s just not now.

And this is the experience we wanted the youngsters to get. They’re getting it. Lets see if they can respond Thursday.
