Kakko was wide open in the slot in the first shift, but Trouba had tunnel vision and had already decided to shoot.

All things considered, down 1 going into the intermission is a fantastic outcome.

Tampa is trapping the shit out of the Rangers and are looking to counterpunch off turnovers in the neutral zone. Nothing open up the middle for the Rangers. Credit to them for adjusting. Rangers need to get the puck deep, cycle and score ugly to have a chance tonight. I don't see it so far.

Another thing I'm tired of watching is the spin o rama shots the entire team takes. We don't have any set plays in the O zone so the only way we can get a shot off is with our backs facing the net. It creates an instant turnover every time. Time to get back to work & start forechecking.
