Everything is too easy for Lundqvist. No traffic and no compete, just a bunch of perimeter shots.

Can't even sustain any pressure.

MT has no answer for the Rangers defense right now.

Well no **** they didn't cost us the game. But they haven't been on our side. And folks are well within their rights to be upset with the double Galchenyuk ****up.

Losing anyway? Okay. But last thing we need is the refs holding our heads under water while the Rangers drag us under...

Yes it evens out. Hopefull it happens tonight. But those were brutal.

And yet...not a peep when bad calls benefit the Habs. Point is...bad calls go for and against teams all the time. How about we actually try to score instead of blaming the refs all the time? And then the same people were complaining about the Bruins blaming refs. LOL

Aside from the first 15 mins...the team hasn't been playing well but hey...lets blame the refs!!! There's a diff between being pissed off at a bad call and blaming the refs for the team playing like ****.

A year of Vanek would probably do wonders for a player like Galchenyuk's development. And Vanek hasn't been a complete no show these playoffs...

I don't know what to do with Vanek. He produces something out of nothing, but man is that guy an enigma. We really needed him to get this far, but I'm terrified about paying him...

But we're close. It's not a fluke that we're in the CF. And Vanek helps with that.

Like I said, I'm not against the idea of bringing Vanek himself back. It's what comes with Vanek, the 7.5+M/7-8 years contract that scares me.

Can't believe this is so easy for the Rangers. They don't even need to sweat for ****. It's the ****ing conference finals and they're playing like it's an exhibition game ffs. Pathetic performance by most of the players and Therrien. Yes Therrien has failed to change things up

Getting more amusement from your boards than this put away game.

Visiting any team's board when they're losing is a game for desperate people. It demonstrates low-class, and a strong need for negative attention. I'd be curious why you feel it important to announce yourself in here, but I doubt your answer would be clever or honest enough.

NYC is the kinda place where if you lose, no one will remember in 5 years from now. They talk of '94 and no one even cares or remembers the Rangers also lost in the finals in 1979, 1972 and 1950 between cups.

Ranger fan here.

You point is well taken.

There are truly only about 20,000 dedicated hockey fans in NY. Many more attend the games (at inflated prices) to say they saw a winner. How many really care how the team does?

Montreal has a history and a fan base that is truly unmatched. Most seem to follow the team intently and are true fans. In NYC hockey is still the step child, perhaps a notch above soccer? Maybe a notch below?

Best wishes for the rest of the series. I truly wish Price was in goal.

It's pretty obvious the guys realize that the series is already over. Hard to win in the playoffs without an above average goalie, let alone a back up or an AHL starter.

Me too.

Dunno if I still want to re-sign him. I kinda hope he's playing injured cause he looks brutal out there. He actually looks worst in the playoffs than in the regular season, not the kind of player you want to give 7m$ a year but he gives our team needs the offensive support that a Vanek gives.
