I’ve watched my fair share of long overtime games. I often say that it’s a shame that someone has to lose the game. This one, I’m saying it’s a shame someone has to win.

I recall an article /study a while back which said that the majority of Playoff OT games end in either the first 2 minutes or last 2 minutes of each period, due to new ice and lack of readiness on one team in the beginning, or fatigue in the latter part.
