I’m not about to question the strategy of our PK. But have any of you guys noticed that we literally never try to turn it back when we’ve got possession in the ozone on the PK? Staal with a perfect example early in that second kill. Skates behind the goal line, no chance to score, literally just hands it to Florida in order to double back and play D again.
I wonder if they’ve done analysis about the risk/reward of trying to play the puck back in those situations to kill additional time and have just decided the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
