Boys are matching up quite well so far in the first period. Really solid job so far. Unfortunate that Tampa tied it, but it is what it is.

Just got home. Was driving on the LIE in the downpour when CK scored. People must of thought I was nuts honking "dun, dun, dun dun dun, Let's go Rangers" Cars were moving out of my way as I was booking it home. Still can't believe the fast start.

I love Reaves. I'd love him as a teammate. But Hunt should be in for him. He's faster and a better player. The forecheck for that line would be much better.

Good first...boys need to settle down a bit. Tampa is not trying to shock and awe them with speed and physicality. Tampa is daring them to be precise or else. They have time to make the proper play though. Just have to trust each other to be in the proper position and not get rid of the pick too quickly.

The 2nd line...lawd almighty. They are still broken and are just a straight up liability at the moment. Panarin at least back checked once, but need a lot more from them. At least don't turn the puck over.

Fox also need to be a second or two quicker with his decision making. Feel good with their overall play so far.

That's what Tampa is seriously good at, keeping the traffic out. Unfortunately that's not a strength for the Rangers at their end.

The semi-good news is I think we were one of the worst teams on coverting our high danger chances, so I guess if we're going to win it's going to by done how we've been doing it all season.

Players take time to learn and adapt to the players they are playing now. Give the rangers time, we will figure it out.

I don't think the first or second half of the period belonged to any team. There was definite back and forth. Some shifts for Tampa were good. Some were good for the Rangers.

The difference here is the refs are allowing a ton of dirty shit go that if we did we'd get called for.

There's a lot more space than in the Carolina series. Tampa is noticeably slower but also bigger.

Rangers need to exploit the open space and the slower team.

They'll adjust.
