Decent forecheck from Florida. Rangers a tad sloppy and not as sharp as we've seen them before. Igor gives one up he probably should've had. Thought the team woke up a bit after the Tkachuk goal. I think they'll come out better in the 2nd. Not a piss poor period or anything, but not sharp either.

Really don’t have any issues with this period. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t terrible like some of you are making it out to be. Passing is a bit off and passes have jumped off our sticks upon receiving them. That will be corrected as the game and series prolongs. Lafreniere looks pretty good out there moving his feet outside of a few jumping off his stick. No issues with Panarin either.
