To be fair, this is the case everywhere outside of the North East, basically.

The minute you get south of Baltimore, I feel like everywhere is filled with nice people (sans DC -- but even DC is pleasant compared to NYC and the rest of the NE). The weird thing about the entire DC area (including Alexandria and Arlington in this) is that there are very few non-chain restaurants.

I mean, out here in the country, it's hard to go anywhere without someone being nice and talking to you. Admittedly, it gets old after a while.

There's a line south of Palm Beach and north of Key Largo, where once you get between it, contains the nastiest most miserable ******** I have ever seen. I don't think you need 3 guess's as to where I live and the people here are awful. I can't wait to move back, I am sick of the people here.

Anyway, in general you're correct. However, living here, NY'ers aren't that bad.

That is pretty true but they all seem to move at the speed of molasses.

so true. georgia, sc and florida. slowest people on the entire planet.

everyone is real friendly though i will agree. its just that they take so long to be friendly and i become less so when i have to wait 15 mins in line for my 1.00 mcdonalds coffee.

ive been to the masters 2 of the last 3 years in augusta georgia and those people are by far the nicest people ive ever been around.

its all very creepy....

Imagine this scene tonight on home ice but with our guys…

Meh, ask the Nuck's "fans" in Vancouver how AV felt about that. I want the real hardware son!

Yeah, but Florida doesn't count since it's a ****show sometimes and one of the weirder states in the union, lol. And it's like 3/4 NYC transplants.

My birthday was three days ago. My sister said she ordered me a gift and that it still didn't come in. I find it a little hard to believe because, when it comes to gift giving, she plans weeks ahead.

I think she ordered me a new Rangers jersey and I think she wants to give it to me when the Rangers seal the deal with the Habs.

So Rangers..um..seal the ****ing deal. Win it, eliminate the Habs, get the the trophy, and get me my ****ing jersey!

We all want the real hardware. You can't put the cart before the horse. Gotta grab this hardware first.

They absolutely have to get it done tonight.

I've given you everything I have since 1990 when I first started watching, please bring us back to the dance tonight.

Lets go Rangers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well..your sister does not sound like a die-hard. She would just give you the darn thing already if she really believed!

Well it only took you 4 years for the cup "that would last a lifetime." What more do you want?

I think, win or lose tonight, I'm going to get it. If not today, then I wouldn't be surprised Saturday morning. The thing is I want to wear it tomorrow and have a clear head.

Tell her that if she really believed, she would fork that apparel over.

And make sure to emphasize that it better not be a cheap knock-off either!

Ha! These guys don't "take" anything.

Look at Nash's goal from the other night. Or Kreider's 4 pt night.

They fall ass backwards into it.

I wish they would "take" something for once.

Not true, they "take" a lot of penalties. :sarcasm:

one battle at a time...

Let's put this team to rest, and we'll worry about our next opponent.

I feel greatness in the air tonight.

Stepan sure looked like he was trying to "take" a win last night. And I thought Kreider was a beast. The Nash goal was fluky, but its a big goal in a big game.

The team has "taken" a lot of wins this post season. They lost in a big game last time. It sucks, but it doesn't change everything.

Imagine being a Rangers fan living in Ottawa like me :(. END it please God!!!

Seriously though, we've had our playoff battle two years ago, and there was some bad blood, but we all came out of that series with some respect for each other. With the Habs and their fans, it's never that. When you beat them, prepare for a litany of excuses as to why THEY lost with no acknowledgement about how you won.

They STILL make excuses for how the Sens handled them last year. And because of that, the same fans we silenced last year and now even more emboldened with this flukey run of theirs.

You have no idea how much the rest of Canada needs the Rangers to stick the stiletto into their throat tonight. We are all behind you!
