Can someone explain, why a linesman is allowed to put his hands on a player? Seems a little unfair to me, linesman can put his hands on the player, you touch him and get 10 games.

Because Carcillo had committed a penalty and should have gone to the box instead of standing around looking for a fight

Also, it's not an equal relationship. The officials are there to keep peace in the game. It would be like assaulting a police officer... kind of.

Carcillos an idiot, but the incident occurred pretty far away from the scrum. The ref could've let him go

Would've been if Stepan played. Would've outdone everything the Habs did with their win and the ******** tactics since the game.

But now their win sticks, our depth is hurt and they remain happy and pumped.

Hope hes back for G5.

Not trying to diminish the need for Stepan, but I think having Brass back may be more important.

The Pouliot/Zucc/Brass line is more speed based, while Stepan is not a very fast skater. Moore clearly couldn't keep up with the play off Poo and Zucc. I think he'll slot in much better alongside Nash and Kreids, since he plays a game more closely to Steps.

For all I know, he could **** the bed, but I'm hoping this lineup is actually more balance then one without Brassard.

Why am I finding myself to hate the Canadiens and their fans more than our divisional opponents we played? At the beginning of the series I was like "ah, Canadiens, let the best team win!" Now I want blood.

Same. I want them to lose more than i want the Rangers to win lol.

for the player that ran his teammate?.. I don't applaud Carcillo for what he did to the linesman.. dumb completely dumb.. but going after prust? yeah.. I'll definitely agree there.

According to AV Carcillo was not aware of his penalty. He was far enough from Prust / Dorcett scrum to give any indication that he was looking to participate, so that AV statement made sense to me when he acted incensed when referee just grabbed him out of the blue. If NHL buys this circumstance then it's possible that Carcillo's banishment would be reduced to 3 games, if not it stays at 10.

It's not a good day for me. Leyton Orient was 2-0 up but eventually lost after a penalty shoot out (in which the opponent missed first but we screwed up, yet again).

Let's hope the Rangers bring some joy at the end of my weekend.

Subban has gotten away with slash after slash after slash this series, WTF is Therrien talking about?

@AGrossRecord

I'm confused from the end of that... Where did PK get dragged into this.

Except therien reportedly has.

Ex-player George Laraque took to Facebook to comment about his use in such tactics when Therrien coached the Pittsburgh Penguins. Laraque recounted a game against Pittsburgh’s rival, the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers were running Pittsburgh goaltender, Marc-Andre Fleury, so Laraque was told by Therrien to run Marty Biron, Philadelphia’s goaltender at the time.
“I got fined by the league but it was obviously covered by our team…They never ran our goalie again! Live by the sword, die by the sword!†posted Laraque after Game One of the Eastern Conference Finals.

The funny thing Habs fans still think they're the victims because Kreider "purposely" injured Price. It's amazing how many double standards there are. Kind of like them using Price's injury as the reason they lost, but Bishop's injury meant nothing. It's embarrassing.

I'm assuming there will be a ton of penalties tonight.. the refs are not going to put up with much at all.

BTW, as much as I hate the Kings, if they make it to the finals and we blow our series. I hope the Kings decimate those losers. In fact I hope Price comes back and gets lit up like no goalie before him in the finals.

I love how Kreider being tripped on almost a breakaway going full speeed into Price is the same as Prust running Stepan well after the play he was no longer even involved in.. "finishing his check" they say.
