Had to see what the Habs forum had to say about us and its all the same ********, run our goaltender and we will basically injure your guys. Such a whiny fan base and total hypocrites. I'd rather us just beat the snot out of them without having to injure anyone. Win the next 2 games and send this team full of players who are also doctors, their coach who threatens players in public, and there cheap shot artists who can only make a hit when the players aren't looking home for the summer. I'd love to see the fans excuses then when we not only win but beat them and hopefully run up the score on their goalie who has supposedly become their savior and has won everything. Everyone is talking up Tokarski but he hasn't looked steady at all, just pepper him with shots and go to the net.

They're arrogant over last win? Those fans seem to be arrogant no matter what. Literally only thing that kept them from being arrogant was us destroying them in game 1. Game 2 they were arrogant about "dominating" us, then they got dominated last game and they're arrogant again. One series and Montreal is now officially my #3 most hated team.

Just curious who's #1 & #2.

Yea, AV is really impressing me.

Just went on a main board posting spree to get jacked up before my workout. Works wonders. Not to sound like a huge dbag.

I put this on another thread. Hers my take....

Lets put things in perspective. The NYR have been the better team this series, and I fully expect that to continue. They drastically outplayed the Canadians in game 1, and at that point Montreal knew they had to change their tactics. Regardless of how everyone thinks boy wonder played in goal for them, we have the better goaltender. We have better defense men and equally better players and depth across the board.

We played a good to great game in game 3 but got zero breaks...and still got the game to overtime. Lets look at the game closely, Marty could have had a hat trick. No way this kid stops all those shots again (in fairness Hags got the goal on the first MSL shot). We missed the net on several shots as well, a few where Boy Wonder was totally out of position. We scored a fluke goal and they scored 2.

Here is what needs to be done. We need to score 2 to 3 goals. That would mean MTL needs 3-4 to win. I don't think Hank gives up 3+ goals a game going forward.

They got a game, nothing more. Did everyone here really think we were sweeping them?

Lastly Montreal and it's coaching staff is doing everything it needs to do to change the series, because they cannot challenge us were it counts, which is on the ice. They are trying to get in our heads to get us off our game. The late hit was intentional on Stepan, and it took us off our game a bit because we had to change out game plan a bit.

We need to relax, and play our game. We have played with a lead for all but a few minutes this series, I see that continuing.

In my opinion we win this series, we are the better team, we still have the better goalie (I don't care if Frenchy calls his goalie a winner...minors doesn't matter at this level. Our goalie has won a goal medal and a Vezina...he's a winner too), and we have a good coach. Whether we win in 5 or 7 doesn't matter to me.

NOW LETS SHUT THEM UP BY WINNING TONIGHT.

Montreal is in our building. They are running their mouths like a little kid on a playground who has a Napolean complex. For me, the Habs as a whole, players and coaches have risen to Devil hatred level right now.

The Rangers need to continue to do what they have all series. They've been the better team. Don't deviate from the plan. That's exactly what Montreal is trying to get them to do because they know they are outmatched on so many levels.

Keep a narrow focus, stay away from the garbage and win a home game. Capitalize on their mistakes, make them take stupid penalties, get to the net, make it difficult for the Montreal defense and Tokarski and finish plays. Don't let up. Not for a shift. Go up to Montreal with a chance to eliminate these whiny ********ers in front of their fans.

Why am I finding myself to hate the Canadiens and their fans more than our divisional opponents we played? At the beginning of the series I was like "ah, Canadiens, let the best team win!" Now I want blood.

@AGrossRecord
Therrien calls Brassard a good, important player. Says no player is looking to hurt another and no coach would ask that of a player.
At same time Therrien says there are no free passes in the playoffs. Says PK Subban not getting free pass "from all those cheap shots."

I'm confused from the end of that... Where did PK get dragged into this.
