Is there a reason to discredit a great goal? Seriously, maybe his knee was fine at that point, it's not like Kreider scored it on the next shift. Also Lundqvist has had a shoulder injury that he's been playing through. I just don't understand the reason to discredit a great goal and make excuses for the Habs. It was a great shot. I think it's Kreider's go to, we've seen him go to it before.

Agree with you for once, it was a snipe just inside the post and above the pad. Excellent shot placement.

Lundqvist kept them in it in the first 10 of the period, but that play was pretty even after that.

Two phenomenal plays from Step and Zucc. Maybe Price makes the save on Kreider if his knee is 100%

Also, no chickens to count yet. We've seen the Canadiens come back from down 5 at home.

Kreider going through the back door with speed and wide open cutting across right in front of the net. I don't think Carey Price had any chance on that other than Kreider shooting wide or off the post or hitting him with the shot. He was pretty much left swinging in the wind by his defense on that one.

How about we win 4 before we consider talking about that. It's Game 1, people.

It's just that I feel we now have a very good chance to do this. The Habs are simply horrible, but of course things can change in game 2.

Habs got issues, they can't handle our speed.

The only good skating D on Montreal are Subban and Beaulieu, who's a rookie.

Emelin is okay, Markov's is losing his skating quickly.

The rest are sieves.

That penalty kill at end of period was huge especially with Boyle in the box. 20 min to go. LGR

I'm feeling great about this teaM right now, but let's not get too cocky. Its only two periods into a best-of-seven series. They definitely upped the anti and won three straight against Pittsburgh, but they also are a team that lost three straight and had awful games against Philly.

Don't stop skating, crash the net, hope Hank keeps his head on straight, and hope Brassard is uninjured.

This Rangers team looks totally different since last week Thursday. I know it's cliche, but I really think the passing of MSL's mom had a lasting effect on this team. It seems like they are more willing to do things for each other.

Question is, what do we do when Brassard misses the next game? Moore to the 3rd line and bring in Carcillo?
