I live in northern Virginia and decided to go to a "sports restaurant" called glory days to watch singe of the game. They have a ton of TVs but wont put the game on the big screen at the bar because sometime is apparently watching college softball and that is on the big screen instead...unbelievable

I never knew he had surgery on his shoulder in 2006. Only his season ending surgery in 2008…

I can't seem to find anything about surgery on his left shoulder in 2006 online. You have anything you could share?

I'm not sure we even get out of the 1st round if we had Cally, but we definitely don't advance past the 2nd round if we did.


But yeah, I don't doubt that he's regretting his choice right now. At least he'll be paid come July 1st, though.

The only link is dead. But I remember when it happened. This is from Blue Jackets Extra:

"When Neal and Brassard grabbed each other to begin throwing punches, Brassard's right shoulder gave way.

Brassard had his left shoulder surgically repaired by Dr. Miniaci before the 2006-07 season. It had been dislocated a few times during his teens, but he required surgery after he was checked from behind in an exhibition game with his junior club. Now, he says, his left shoulder is stronger than his right, even before the injury."

Although the actual link is dead. I'm sure there is some stuff on the Q injury out there, but I'm on an iPad and can't go in depth in searching.
