HF Habs: Early Bird Mock Draft 2022 (COMPLETED!)

Only 2 picks of ours I like is Lorenz with Oilers 2nd and Kyrou with our 3rd. Rutger be good with those picks also. He has size and good shot.

No way we taking Cooley over Slafkovsky or Nemec. Gaucher has bust all over him. No way I am passing on Howard with Flames pick. He could be Caufield 2.0. speaking of Caufield, with Goyette, Fiskus and Korkinski there at 22-24 reminded me of Caufield, Krebs and Newhook still there when we drafted in 2019. I was screaming at tv for Habs to trade up and get another on them. Besides Rutger, I may have taken Casey with our second pick. Can move puck in good development program. Chesley maybe too. Trying to find next Fox. Would have to study them more before choosing. Hope we draft XXXXX with remaining third round picks. XXXXXX is good third round pick also. XXXXXX I would take early 4th.

Buffalo Sabres select, from the London Knights of the OHL, Defenceman Isaiah George

Isaiah is one of the best skaters in the whole draft, so we are pleased to get him this late. He has a tremendous set of athletic tools to work with, and we feel that he's in a great place to develop in London.

@Habs76 is up next with Detroit.

Habs totally can select Cooley over anyone else at that spot, Gaucher, not sure about his overall potential, but bust all over him ? Come on. Would also select Howard (or Perevalov) over Bystedt, but it's more that I haven't seen the latter a lot.

Anyway, @bopeep wanted these picks, and I wouldn't mind one bit if that's how it happened in reality.

Rutger Hauer was a fine actor so the wrong name can't be all bad :nod:

Rutger as in McGroarty. Playing for US NDTP. Lorenz is playing tier junior. They are two different players. You fellows are rusty on your draft.

Guy drafting for us is missing on a lot of talent. I wonder if he is Trevor Timmins??

I like @bopeep 's draft, and he's actually done quite well in these in the past.

I'm down with drafting a shit load of centers, and like all of Cooley, Gaucher, Bystedt and Lorenz.

It's like that guy in the earlier draft thread who was criticizing us because he didn't like how we didn't talk about enough players, or something :huh:.

Some people get into MORPG too much, I guess.
