Can you explain how a player would understand an injury timeline better than a doctor? Kane is barely skating at this point
That’s pretty simple to do. A player understands their body better than a doctor does. A doctor makes an approximation where as the actual hurt player knows factually how he feels.

He's not even practicing yet so your simple explanation is simple minded. Kane has never had this surgery or recover before so how would he know? Doctors use imaging, precious cases, and objective info instead of " I think I'll be ready to play in a month even though I'm not healthy enough to practice today and have never experienced this recovery before". Keep reaching though

Again, a player knows his own body and recovery path better than a doctor who approximates. Recovery can either be quicker or longer based on the individual.

Oilers have a first round bye at the moment so they should be good if they get the Kings who they match very well versus.

Dont need the LTIR cao moves to beat the Kings.

R2 and onwards will see if the LTIR cheat helps them or not

R2 vs Knights will be a tough one

To be fair I would expect a guy who can't grasp pdo to also think an athlete understands physiology better than a doctor
And this the type of comment that shows someone’s lost the conversation  . Recovery periods can vary, one individual can recover earlier and another could take even longer when recovering from the same surgery. Not a single doctor will tell you down to the day when an injury will be fully recovered.

Kane could easily be ahead of his recovery curve by a month while the next athlete could be a month behind. And no doctor can accurately predict that.
