honestly bit of a saving grace for Red Wings if he does and it forces a "rebuild the rebuild" hand a bit more. Especially since with 5 years and a personal request, he's likely waiving to enough for the Wings to get real trade value.

Obviously Yzerman flopped spectacularly but the Wings org is better longterm trading Larkin and scaling back for 2-3 years.

To NJ for Hischier
To ANA for McTavish+
To MIN for Yurov+

Good news is that several teams could use a 1C/2C like Larkin so there should be plenty of interest. And I don't blame him one bit. This slow walked rebuild non-sense would be super frustrating, especially at his age. He has several good years left and it's hard to blame him for wanting to do it for a contender.
To Philly for...?

seems like the most likely fit for both sides... Ducks have enough young talent and a clear #1A C so that Larkin can slot into the support role he's far better suited for.

RedWings get a high upside C replacement that's probably about as good a talent for talent replacement they will get in moving from Larkin.

Beniers from Seattle is another option that might work for both sides, if the Kracken are looking to make a big shakeup
lol hes not a high c replacement and detroit would be idiotic downgrading from larking to a 40 pt mctavish. The plus would have to be like mcqueen +++
