Cozens is likely the piece moved when the Sabres miss the playoffs this year and I doubt his return is much better than this with a 1st thrown in.

I think what we think right now versus what is thought about Cozens could be vastly different leaguewide by the end of the year, if he has a down season...he makes 7.1M which isn't nothing.

A lot of GMs might hesitate to add him because if he can't live up to that cap hit, it's difficult.

No dude, maybe Murphy could be interesting for Buffalo, but for now we definitely shouldn't trade Cozens in a deal like that. Cozens himself needs help on the line in the form of a top 6 forward.
