Dude! What are you doing in that uniform? Part III

I have a new grievance/pet peev that never occurred to me or dawned on me until today and this seems like the most appropriate place to air it.

When a player retires, NHL.com needs to be faster in reverting their picture back to whatever team they are most associated with. Jarome Iginla has been retired for 7 years and is still wearing a #88 LA Kings jersey in his main page photo.

This is what I was able to dig up about her playing in a Kings jersey:

Erin Whitten played for the Kings during the 1993-94 season. It was as part of a benefit game for the victims of the Laguna Beach and Malibu wildfires. The game took place on December 8, 1993, against the Anaheim Ducks. Several personalities participated in this game: The Hanson Brothers played for each of the two clubs, Camy Granato played in the uniform of her brother Tony who was injured, and Manon Rhéaume was the Ducks' goalie (with her Lightning jersey).

This is the kind of stuff that NHL 2005 is made for.

Having Byron Ritchie showing up in a Rögle jersey felt bizzare. He was really good too.

His brother-in-law is Andreas Johansson who was weird to see in a Leksand jersey (played two periods before he had to retire because of injury poor guy)

Since I am pretty sure I already shared Tim Thomas, here are three more cases from 1998-99; Eric Fichaud and Eric Perrin wearing Oilers jerseys, as well as Mark Lamb, whose case is right team, wrong uniform, sporting the navy, copper, and red era Oilers jerseys.

Can't seem to find any photos from 1999 of Legace with Vancouver.

Did find one of him trying out for the Islanders in 2010.
manny-legace-of-the-new-york-islanders-handles-shots-in-warmups-prior-to-the-game-against-the.jpg
Responding to old post, but Legace was with so many teams. Sadly I haven´t found photos out of the obscure ones. He was in last North Stars camp in 92 even before drafted. He was backup for the Whalers. He attended Thrashers camp in 2009.

Although Thomas did play with the Lightning during the 1999-2000 preseason (that Ricky Martin concert was 10/22/99: Ricky Martin Setlist at Ice Palace, Tampa), I don't believe that is him.

According to this roster, that goalie is Trevor Koenig.

ropb3wgb2eu61.jpg

Edit: I think this is the same season where Andy Bezeau was traded for a washing machine.

Edit 2: The trade that involved Bezeau being traded for two used equipment dryers was voided and he was eventually traded to the Vipers... in 1997.
Greg Pankewicz, Alek Stojanov, AND Eisbären Berlin legend Steve Walker?

Since I’ve been able to find Eric Perrin in a 1998-99 Oilers uniform, I’d love to see what those 1999-00 pictures would have looked like.
