Speed, hits stuff, never quits. He’s here to make sure nothing happens 8 minutes per game.

Regenda was horrible in preseason, and Nesterenko isn’t really suited for the 4th line.

A friend of my daughters is a AA hockey player who has been up to AAA and back and forth. He said the difference between AA and AAA isn't skill but the AAA players play every shift like it's game 7 in the Stanley Cup finals. I don't know why our guys can't skate like that.

It seems like they aren’t quite sure of where to be so they are trying to think their way around the ice instead of just playing hockey within a system they know like the back of their hand.

It’s more or less the same thing every year. Guys are always stationary away from the puck. And when they’re not sure of where to go, they collapse to the middle and play in slow motion. This keeps the other teams from getting oodles of shots right in the slot, but I can’t believe they haven’t figured out by this point that if you’re not moving constantly, you’ll never get the puck back.

It’s a trend that follows them into the O zone sometimes and even on the PP. Guys not really moving with and without the puck which leaves them with no passing options
