LOL, the optics of this are pretty funny :) Regardless, I think this is a decent pickup by the Ducks. He has size, speed, and is a serviceable 4th liner. As noted by another poster, he likely takes Cramarossa's spot, and he's better than Cramarossa. I do think he has the upside to be a decent 3rd liner, too.

He really needs to fix his tunnel vision if he wants to start being serviceable.

Welcome home!

I remember when someone posted this video when the Canucks acquired him. I was excited. Then I saw him play and I was no longer excited.

The guy just doesn't do anything. It's like he's not even there.

Luckily for us, he is literally no longer here. I'll take that as a small victory

Better than Bergenheim at this point though?

no. That's my frustration honestly.

Etem is meh, but I don't mind him for the 4th line, considering how ****** some of the wingers we have. However, I don't understand why we didn't just sign Bergenheim. He was/is better, and did well in the preseason.

Stings a little losing Etem. Had expected him to find his game in Utica and come back up again.

Ducks though, what are you doing? is your forward depth really that bad?

BM is unbelievable.

yes, the depth is that bad. Etem, Boll, Raymond, Sorenson, Wagner, Garbutt

:help:

really, after Getzlaf, Perry, Kesler and Silfverberg, the offense is very underwhelming.

Well, we have one of Cramarossa or Boll taking regular shifts, so Emerson Etem surely can't hurt.

Hopefully he can find his game. His skillset is so appealing, he just doesn't seem like he's capable of putting it together.

Now that Emerson knows this is his absolute last shot, and might be broke by now( the dude has a horrible attitude) he might actually play hard for a check.

He can skate fast, has adequate size and looks like he might be able to do something.

But then he doesn't.

Very accurate.

I guess if they want to turn him into a 4th line grinder he could be useful in the NHL. But points are not something he gives a team.

Guy has the worst skating stance I have ever seen.

It has gotten worse since Junior.

He is so far hunched over that he can't see the ice and people around him.

His game consists of driving wide and letting off a bad shot.
