I don't care how bad Skinner is 3-0n-3, until anyone else shows they can put the puck in the net, he simply has to be out there. We had 10 legit chances but between Lindholm, Aho, Staal, and motherbleeping Rask, nobody could bury anything.

Hero puck doesn't work on 3v3. Every time Skinner was on the ice he would try to dance through the 3 opposing guys and end up turning it over. Which is awful 3v3 because possession is everything.

I get we're frustrated, but Skinner in OT was not the problem here.

I have no problem with not playing Skinner in OT. He doesnt utilize his teammates in OT. Just dipsy doodles with the puck until it's striped, which usually goes the other way into our net.

Nope. It's not about "every loss".

It's about pissing points away that you should f***ing have in the bag.

This team is a borderline team. By design. It works on razor thin margins. We had more 1-goal games than almost anyone in the league over the past year -- and we lost the majority of them. The changes that we made were *specifically to win those games*.

Which means that every point this team throws away is a blow to their chances. And every point they throw away LIKE THIS is far worse.

It's not just that they lost that point. It's that they lost it in the shittiest possible way. A broken down team that had played the night before. A backup goalie that hadn't played in months. A 3-2 lead that they fought their asses off to get, that the Hot Shit New Goalie gave away on literally a beer league goal. NINE shots on goal in the OT, two of them 1-on-0 breakaways, that they couldn't score on.

They are exactly .500. They are forever .500. And .500 is not the playoffs, and it never will be.

our direction is questionable... a lot of young and still cheap talent but we didn't improve like the normal teams did it. we are stuck in the middle with a lot of assets but nothing more. we are calm, patient but without big and changing move. at some point maybe we need to make big hockey trade.

I love Kuoks as a prospect, but to give him game time today just because, instead of Jooris who played well lately was dumb.

And I don`t get this, when we can`t score we are losing by one goal but it`s like 1:0; 2:1 and goalie is playing well, but when we score 3, we let in 3, wtf is up with that?

I know that PP has to change, it`s awful, killing momentum, every f***ing game.
Change system, crash the net, stop trying to play until open net, it will not work that often, this is NHL and we are not skilled enough to do it.
