Another solid trade for Verbeek. Another value candidate that will hopefully get the ducks a solid draft pick at the deadline.
What are you talking about we got fowlerThat's exactly what Verbeek wants and will get
Has there ever been a time in Duck history where the team didn't have at least one tough dman?
They will pay for it for sure with injuries and more Terry incidents which is what they deserve
Most likely he is an AHL defenseman but there will be plenty of openings on defense after the TDL...Huge season for Mahura, but I think he's going to be an AHL defensemen.
What toughness does he bring?i'm fine with it. veteran stay at home d-man who can PK. hopefully he can bring some toughness to that soft ass d-core
What are you talking about we got fowler
What toughness does he bring?
he's willing to stand up for his teammates unlike most of the team
Benoit belongs in the lineup.
Benoit ------> Shattenkirk
Maybe on other teams with actual defenses and size and physicality but he's not on the Ducks.As an injury fill in maybe. He’s the very definition of a replacement player
The irony is that the patchwork D that ended last year will be the same patchwork D that ends the 22-23 season.![]()
How Dmitry Kulikov affects the Ducks' blue line and bottom line
Kulikov won't turn the Ducks defense into the best unit in the NHL. But it'll be better than the patchwork group that ended last season.theathletic.com
I found the below to be hilarious.
Can't complain about the acquisition. Competent NHL dmen that cost nothing are nice.
Pretty f***ing embarrassing considering it is his job to stay up with the NHL and who is in it.
