He's now fighting Vaaks for a top 6 role which is not the end of the world given some aren't sold on him either.
Yep, camp is going to be interesting.

Contract is just 1 year at 2.25, this is decent.

If we fall out of picture, should bring in some assets come deadline.

We really needed some defensive minded guy, and we got one.

Left side- good defensively. Right side- bad defensively, is now our motto

His most common d-partner was Jon Merrill, who is also a LHD. Does anyone know which one of them played the right side?

EDIT: Wild fan says Kulikov played on the left side.

I like it. Term fits perfectly, and price was a steal. Plays a style the team needed, can PK, just overall a good fit. Also means the younger options are now competing for minutes rather than slotting in by default, giving them more reason to come to camp buzzing. Just an all around good move by PV.

Benoit’s physicality will be missed. That’s an extremely soft top 6 if he is sitting.
That's exactly what Verbeek wants and will get
Has there ever been a time in Duck history where the team didn't have at least one tough dman?
They will pay for it for sure with injuries and more Terry incidents which is what they deserve
