Klingberg, Walman, Stetcher
Stetcher is a perfect pairing for Nurse.
Klingberg and Walman together is like Cagney & Lacey, Hall & Oates, Willie & Waylon, Carson & McMahon.
One thing I notice about our D is they can all pass
Walman is signed for 1 more year at 3.4. Klingberg is a UFA. I would like to have both of them back. I never wanna go thru that dark decade of that terrible defence we had. It was the worst.
Nuge and Hyman are/were playing Conn Smythe like

Been an Oilers fan since 79-80 but this is one of the teams I have most love for, So many stories. Man I wanna win this cup this year. Shut up all the haters with a big STFU. When Conner picks up cup, I know he would hand it off to Drai first. Drai to Nuge. I sure hope they get Hyman it pretty quick. U gotta figure he is heartbroken. He is a HUGE part of this team
I think it would be Connor to Nuge to Leon but it could go either way. Let’s just get through tonight injury free and rest up for the rematch.

They aren't dropping like flies. Connor Brown and elkolm will be back very shortly. Only loss is hyman and we will miss him but we can go forward and not miss a beat. Maybe jeff skinner steps in and is hungry to show what he can do in playoffs. We have options
They actually have been dropping like flies. Fortunately, only one of them has been swatted hard enough to be out of permanent action going forward. The others will soon be back, as you say, and ready to fly around and shit on the Panthers.

I would go 11-7 because it’s one game. Shuffle McDrai and get the series in the bag and get a good rest before the finals. Doesn’t really matter if you run them ragged. You win this game you don’t play till Wednesday.
When you add a guy who is as good as the Viking then you can't really go wrong.

I don't think they'd seriously consider 11-7 long term and through the finals. If they did it, it would only be a game or two to ensure Ekholm can play the required minutes. That said, lining up Stetcher as a RW isn't a terrible idea as you can make up some set lines but if something goes sideways on the backend he can quickly slip back. His style of game might actually translate decently to a
The 11-7 would be for 1 game only, just to make sure Ekholm can get through a game. If he gets through it okay you take Stetcher out and add whomever the 12th forward is going to be. If he can’t then you take out Ekholm again and add whomever that 12th forward is going to be. Worst case scenario you lose tonight and still have a 3-2 series lead coming back home. It’s not the end of the world. It would be a tougher decision is the series was tied at 2 or if we were the ones trailing 3-1 but we’re not so we have some flexibility tonight.

Good thing everybody is exactly the same.
I didn't say everyone is the same.

People are dismissing Skinner's game as not being fit for the playoffs. It's not that wild to think that a veteran like him knows what he has to do to earn a spot and will play differently if given the opportunity. Like I showed, he already leads the team in hits/60 from the one game he played.

He was also on the ice for 3 goals against and was a team worst -2 in only 11:12 of ice time. That’s what I’m worried about with him. This was what we got from a veteran trying to earn a spot that game.

I’m not saying he shouldn’t get another chance. If Knoblach puts him in I’ll respect his decision. He’s got a better understanding of what Skinner is capable of bringing to a game than anybody here does. I’m just saying there are big risks associated with Skinner and heading into the finals (hopefully) I’d prefer a safer option.

No. They were dropping like flies near end last month of regular season but not at all now. Hyman is a big loss. Brown be back soon and ekolm back tonight. Everyone healthy but Hyman. Dropping like flies does not apply to these playoffs
