Based on the player Manson was at the time of the trade (declining defensively) that was amazing value in that trade. I remember people saying Manson's defense was terrible the year he was traded.

Manson was always overrated defensively and underrated offensively.

He’s been awesome. Our best RHD this year.

Been saying this for a while, but I’d love to see a LaCombe-Helleson pairing. That could be a legit top pairing for next season.

They're both Minnesotans and according the Etem Up podcast they made the road trip back to Minnesota last year, so maybe this off-ice camaraderie will also work on the ice.
